Hi all,

i'm working on an application which uses NHibernate 1.0.4 and SQL Server 2000. Some of our data access is quite slow. We ran the Profiler together with the application and what we found was, that ton's of "Lock: Aquired" messages are in the trace. It seems that the SQL Server uses locks records / tables even for readonly queries. Our customer want us to remove these locks, but i'm not sure if this is a normal behavior. Did anyone have expierience with this?
