Hi all,

I just finished listening to Ayende on Dot Net Rocks talking about NHibernate and Rhino Mocks. He mentioned that he had recently implemented the ability to query a given number of records that will also return to total number of matching records all in one call. I've been looking for this! Anyone know where this feature was implemented?

Check his website, google "NHibernate Query Generator". As far as I can tell, that's one of a few apps he's made to work with Nhibernate.

FWIW, I saw some stuff on batching in the newest commit for Nhibernate's source.

sorry I meant to say that he was talking about the multi-Query capability
Check out section 15.7 - Multi Query in the documentation.


Not sure why Gortok repeated what I said though.

Thanks! From what I can tell, multi query only supports HQL queries. Is there any similar support for criteria based queries?

IMultiCriteria is in the works but there is no timeframe for completion.
