 Post subject: Stored procedures and optimistic locking

Can I leverage hibernate to call stored procedures and take advantage of hibernate's optimistic locking feature as well? If so, I haven't found any solid documentation for this - maybe I over looked it, but could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
