Hibernate version: 3.1.3

Hello,

Is there any way where I can add additional conditions to the outer join in my query (with criteria api or in hibernate mapping file)?

The desired generated sql:

select
*
from
a as a
left outer join b as b
on a.id = b.id
and b.type='XY'
where
...
