Hi all,

Just a generic question. I've been reading a lot about Nhibernate lately for my new project. There seems to be a problem people mentioned here and there of using NHibernate in asp.net enviornment. So what is the best way to create session factory in asp.net? Just want to get it clarified.

Another question. I come from the java world, spring had excellent support for instantiating sessionFactory for Hibernate, has any of you successfully integrated spring.net with Nhibernate? If so, then any issues?

Thanks, I'm just trying to find out what I can before I dive in.

We use Spring.Net and NHibernate in our projects. Coming from Spring.java, you'll be able to get started very quickly with Spring.Net.

I reccomend the castle integration as well. I've used both and abandoned the spring implementation because its not as clean as castle's and I also dont think it performs as well.
