 Post subject: fetch records from database instead of persistence context

hello!

is it possible to fetch some records from database if they are allready in the persistence context of an entity manager?

i know it is possible to reload a record from database with em.refresh(), but this is only possible for one record. do I have to reread all records with em.refresh() ?
