I wold like to generate the hibernate.cfg file in an ant task starting from the hbm.xml files... here is one way of doing it:

but it only works for hibernate 2...

another option would be xdoclet's <hibernatecfg> but that one uses anotated classes to start with and I can't use that...

any other ideas ?...
