 Post subject: SQLQuery : CHAR vs. VARCHAR

Hi,

Ich habe eine mysql 5.0 Tabelle 'test' mit einem Feld
'text' CHAR(2)
Wenn ich nun folgendermaßen über die Tabelle iteriere:

List l = session.createSQLQuery("select t.text from test as t").list();
         
Iterator i = l.iterator();
while (i.hasNext()){
   System.out.println("" + i.next());
}


bekomme ich immer nur den ersten Buchstaben aus jedem Feld. (i.next() ist ein java.lang.Character)

Andere ich in der Datenbank das Feld auf VARCHAR(2) funktioniert alles, wie es soll.

Kann ich irgendwie dafür sorgen, dass hibernate Strings aus CHAR Feldern ausliest?
