 Post subject: BUG: Count(*) is Int64, but SetFirstResult is only Int32

Sorry for posting it in forum, but I wasn't able to create account at jira.nhibernate.org. Due to the jira exception:

[GenericEntity.set] "name" is not a field of OSUser

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: [GenericEntity.set] "name" is not a field of OSUser

This is not a bug, this was changed to be compatible with Hibernate. To revert to the old behavior, use sessionFactory.Dialect.RegisterFunction("count", new ClassicCountFunction()).

Thanx for reply.

I just suppose that Int64 version of SetFirstResult has to be implemented too?

BTW I'm using NHibernate 1.2 beta 3.

Hibernate has no such thing but feel free to submit a JIRA issue (once JIRA is back up again) for consideration.

Just curious, but you have a table with over 4 billions rows, and you want to page into that?
