hi,

i am using myeclipse 4.

when i generate the hibernate mapping for DB table(hibernate) via myeclipse DB explorer perspective , i get the java classes generated but the .hbm file gets an error message which i dont uderstand.

however , i am surprised that despite the things been autogenerated by myeclipse ....still there is an error !


what is the resolution for this ?

Use tools.hibernate.org instead - that's the real thing ;)

It is apparently not generating an id because your db does not contain an id.
