Hello

The ListIndex column in the many-to-one end of my <list> collection contains null for all my entries. I would have supposed the rows to contain 0, 1, 2 and so on.

Do some of you know typical reasons for that, or basically what I should look at in order to get the ListIndex updated correctly?

Best regards,

Henrik Dahl

Hi hdahl,

I have the same issue! Have you got an idea about the reason?

Thx

Lists and maps cannot be used for one-to-many associations, only for collections of values.

Hibernate manual chapter 7.4.1 shows the mapping instructions I followed to set up my one-to-many association using a list. It works fine for me, except that I do get a null value in the ListIndex column on occasion. I'm still trying to figure out why that happens, my users may just not be reporting a crash to me that is killing the session before the index can be saved.

Do these instructions not apply to NHibernate Sergey? Or am I misunderstanding your response?

The manual you are quoting is for Hibernate 3, it is not supported by NHibernate.
