Hello,

In my application it may happen that users performs queries that bring back a lot of data, and the performances are really poor. Therefore i have two questions.

1/ What kind of tuning can be done to improve perfs ?

2/ Is there a way to get back results asynchronously ? In that way the user won't be blocked with an hour glass as his mouse cursor. He will be able to perform more operation.

Many thanks !

Hi,
You can try using pagination (If u dont know about that already, its like getting the results in different splits as in the mails in your inbox).
Can you make ur question clearer to get a more specific reply.
Thanks and dont forget to rate my answer.

Gopal.
