Greetings,

I was wondering if there is some plans to build a Dialect for Informix... how can I access this database?

Best regards

Vilson

No plans because as far as I know no NH developers use Informix. If you manage to create your own dialect (it's not in any way complicated, by the way), please contribute it.

I need an Informix backend too. Is there any documentation or tutorial for creating a new Dialect?

You can see the others implementation.
If you want make a complete work you can see the implementation of InformixDialect on Hibernate3.2 and convert it to C# (not all future of H3.2 dialect are supported in NHb).

When you complete the dialect, please, run NHibernate.Test.
