At the moment we're considering which orm tool to use for future products. So far the 2 front runners are .nettiers and nhibernate. I have a few questions about nhibernate that you can hopefully help me with. If any of these questions are in a nice faq somewhere please let we know (I couldn't find one).

1. Does nHibernate have an equivelent of Hibernate Annotations? I have a strong preference towards meta programming over configuration so this is very important.

2. I see stored procedures arn't supported until version 1.2! I know there seems to be a policy on not setting release dates but is there a rough ETA on this version?

3. Can nHibernate auto-generate stored procedures from the model classes/mapping files provided?

Thanks!

1. Not exactly equivalent, but it is possible to use attributes instead of .hbm.xml files.

2. No, not yet.
