seriously, I was quite skeptical 3 months ago to drop our grown code ata access layer.

Now that we are deeper into the project and really starting to get into using Hibernate - it is freakish the amount of productivity gain - an enormous amount of code is no longer needed and yes we really focus on the objects.

HERE IS MY PREDICTION.

Hibernate, along with several other excellent open source technologies will usher in a new generation of open source - which will send shivers down the spines of proprietary closed source competitors...

I hope so...

The Hibernate team made a good job on this framework. I'm looking forward for more features in this ORM framework.
