Hello forum,

I want use Middlegen in my Windows, but I can't run it. I've installed Ant and I've downloaded MiddleGen 2.1 from sourceforge (http://surfnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourc ... en-2.1.zip).

Can you help me please, saying me what must I do in order to perform Middlegen correctly in Windows?

Note: I've read documentation of MiddleGen

Thanks.

If you already made the environment variable configuration ant_home:

1. you just need go to ...\middlegen-xx\samples\config\database, make the configuration of your database using the respective file (mysql, oracle, etc). Don't forget to put the correct database schema.

2. run ant in the ...\middlegen-xx\samples inside the command line for Windows.

I hope it works.

Nato.

It should be straight forward to get running. An other option is to download the R5 version of Middlegen from the Hibernate SF downloads. It is just about pre-setup with a sample app.
