 Post subject: Compatibility Hibernate 3.1 with App Servers for Java 1.4?

Hello,

I would like to know if I can use the Hibernate 3.1 with Java 1.5, even if I'm using an App Server that only support Java 1.4. I know there are some ways to use annotations, for example, without using Java 1.5, but what I really want is the resource to use JDBC instead to use iBatis and Hibernate together. Have said that, I want use only Hibernate if it's possible.

Sorry, I think I should do some researches before. This comments answer my doubts:

"Hibernate 3.1+ only runs on JDK 1.4+"

If anybody else has comments, feel free to reply here. Tks.
