Im having troubles learning hibernate in spring, whats the best place to learn about these. I just want simple clarification on how to configure a simple app.

ie. store a form bean into a database...

Try the user forum or even the documentation at the Spring site.
My view is to try it without Spring first - use the native Hibernate facilties. The result will be you will understand what is acutally going on even if your using Spring as a wrapper.
