I know for a web application. The configuration for nHibernate could be put in the web.config file. But when I write a normal windows application, where can I put these configuration? How could nhibernate know where I put the configuration? Need I write additional code to get these configuration in?
Thank you!

With windows applications you can also use a configuration file called App.config. You have to put it in the project's root directory.
