Hi All,

I'm considering using the 2nd level cache SysCacheProvider to improve performance, but in a non-ASP.Net application. I can't find any documentation suggests it only works within an ASP.Net application. It seems like its just a generic in-memory db cache that happens to have been written for ASP.Net. Is that right?

As an aside, does anyone with experience using this cache have any performance gotcha's that they've run into, or does it seem to be reasonable out of the box?

Many thanks,

Evan

It depends on the version of .NET Framework you are running. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917411.
