could somebody tell me what is the "shallowQuery" meaning as in
org.hibernate.hql.ast.QueryTranslatorImpl ? is it associated JDBC?

what is the class ParameterMetadata's function?

ParameterMetadata is metadata of parameters of a query, it includes named parameters, and ordinal parameters.

An instance of ParameterMetada is created after parsing an HQL (or Native SQL) by hibernate.
