I am using Spring and Hibernate with JSF.
in DAO implementations when I am using "Criteria" to select data from database, the connection will be lost after the maxActive connection defined in the ApplicationContext being reached.
for example if I set maxActive to 20, after 20 select from my web page the jdbc can not open more connection so an exception has been thrown.
I think everything refer to getSession(). I have called getSession().close() and getSession().flush() after returning the list from Criteria but problem still stay.
I dont know this problem is for Spring, or Hibernate or JSF, but this forum is more active than Spring forums. if you put a question there, million years will take until someone passing and take a look at your problem.
