I have an oracle 10g DB.
i have some tables which some of the columns are declared as XMLTYPE.
So... lets say i want to query the DB like this.

select x,y.extract('/permission/permission/value/text()'),z from tbl where tbl.id>100;

How can i implement thsi using hibernate 3.1?
