 Post subject: Can you declaratively override database type hbm2ddl emits

In hibernate 3.1, I'd like to override the database type that hbm2ddl emits for a hibernate type I assigned to a property (column). While I realize I could subclass the dialect implementation of the target database, I'd rather do it via a declaration. For example, for the hibernate type of

timestamp
, for Oracle, I'd like hbm2ddl to emit
Quote:
TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE
.

sorry - you can't override the sql type used per hibernate type.
