i assume RAD 6 isstill using Eclipse 3.1 ? then you need hibernate tools 3.1 and not 3.2

its available from JBoss IDE downloads.

In fact, RAD 6 is based on Eclipse 3.0 (my version is in Portuguese, but I think it's understandable):

-------------------
Plataforma Eclipse

Versão: 3.0.2.2
ID de compilação: 200503110845
-------------------

There is any version of Hibernate Tools that supports Hibernate3 and can be installed in this environment?

Sorry to bring back such an old thread.

I too am forced to use
RAD6
Eclipse Platform
Version: 3.0.2.2
Build id: 200503110845

Do any of the HibernateTool builds run on this ver. of RAD?

I know this isnt the forum to ask but all I have to do to manually install the plugin is put the plugins/features files in the ..\RAD60\rad\eclipse\plugins / ..\RAD60\rad\eclipse\features files respectively, right?

Eclipse 3.0 is very old....and I only think the very early alpha versions of hibernate tools works on it.

Thanks max. I found the old Alphas for jboss-ide package. But none for hibernatetools. Just the 3.1.0 beta. Updating RAD right now and going to try manually installing the oldest 3.1.0 I found. If that doesnt work I'll just install eclipse soley for using hibernatetools...
