Oracle db

Trying to create the Reverse Engineering File. The Refresh of the Database Schema takes a long time. I have tried adding a filter by schema (clicking Include and specifying the schema, removing asterisk) as well as specifying a single table. It hasn't improved the response time, which is running about 15 minutes or longer. I do not know what the Catalog column means. Can someone advise on improving the lookup of database tables in this tool?

Thanks,

Maybe it would help if we could see your config files. Where are you specifying the "single table"?

My entire reverse engineering of 30 tables, including both hbm2hbmxml and hbm2java takes only 14 seconds!

How many hbm.xml files get generated when you run the job?

set default schema in hibernate configuration or use <schema-selection> feature (latest release or nightly build)

Even with the default schema set, the GUI lookup was taking nearly 15 minutes. I found however, that you can simply type in the table name (Oracle is case-sensitive). I found this elsewhere too, the GUI makes the look-ups extremely slow, but you can edit the source directly.
