I've been spending a lot of time looking at SysCache, and I'm not sure I understand what it's expected behavior is when multiple threads are accessing it simultaneously. Specifically, I'm worried about the Hashtable that is used to track what's in the cache so that we can clear the cache. It's clearly not thread safe, and I'm curious whether the author(s) of SysCache could comment on their assumptions around it not being synchronized, and whether it's something to worry about.

Thanks.

If NHibernate's use of SysCache, or any cache provider, is threadsafe, then I wouldn't think it's a problem. Threading isn't my strong suit, however, so if you have a unit test showing a threading problem feel free to create a Jira ticket and attach the patch.
