 Post subject: HibernateValidator question re: InvalidStateException

Easy question, if I mark using @email e.g.

@Column (unique = true, nullable=false)
@Email
public String getEmailAddress(){
return emailAddress;
}

then set to a bad email address.

The hibernate validator gives InvalidStateException .

Is there anyway of getting a more detailed error message giving the field in error ?
