Hi All,

I'm developing a Java application that persists data to an IBM UniVerse database (not my choice). I would like to use hibernate for data persistance but couldn't find a dialect in the list of available dialects. Does this mean that I can't use it for UniVerse or is there a solution to this.

Note: I have JDBC driver that provides a relational view of the stored data.

Thanks

Regards
Gigabyte

It's worth trying it with any dialect that you think might be close. In general the dialects are pretty simple, so it shouldn't be too difficult to implement your own if necessary.

Hi Gigabyte,

Did you get anywhere in using hibernate or Nhibernate with Universe?

What dialect did you use and can you post the configuration?

Regards

Adrian.
