Hi everyone,

I am new to Hibernate and currently looking for the best way to populate a MySQL database. I have inserted test data by calling objects and methods although i will have a large amount of data to import.

Are there any great examples out there that you could point me towards.

I am using Eclipse 3.1/Hibernate 3.1/MySQL 5 database.

Please post your suggestions if you can help. Thanks. Alyssa.

There are a few methods - for longer term data I have used dbUnit as a solution for this sort of problem.
