 Post subject: NetBeans plugin cannot ALTER TABLE?

When you add a property to a hibernate bean and click "Create DB tables", that table is dropped and created again. (Causing all rows to disappear).

Is it not pissible to make the plugin just alter the table, so that the rows are kept intact?

that is some external guy doing it - don't know about it. (well I know about it, but noone ever asked for integrating with the real hibernate tools ;)
