Hi folks,

I know it has been discussed many times already, but I remember seeing somewhere that NHibernate supports generics unofficially.

First, is this true? and if it is, what do I have to do in order to use it?

If not, I read a lot of dissussion about when to implement generics.. if port of hibernate3 is more important than generics? So, do we have an estimate about when generics will be supported?

If it's not yet supported and it's not planned in a near futur, what you guys would suggest?
does http://www.ayende.com/projects/nhiberna ... erics.aspx like a great plan ?

Thanks

Generics support is "in the works", meaning under development. You can get the code from the Subversion repository, build it, and try it out. Check out the unit tests for usage examples.

1. Install
2. See chapter 5 in the help

It should be that simple.

yeah, saw that page.. but the URL given there ( http://svn.sourceforge.net/nhibernate ) doesn't exist.

and if I check http://anonhibernate.labs.jboss.com/trunk/Hibernate3 and get back one level, I don't see any nhibernate at all.

Thanks
