My question is related to identity column, can i have a mapping without Identity i.e. <ID></ID>

It's not possible to completely avoid having an identifier because the table you are mapping your object to must have a primary key. However, you can declare an identifier without mapping it to a property of your .NET object. See http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/nhibernate/html/persistent-classes.html#persistent-classes-poco-identifier.
