Is there any ability to map .NET 2.0 Generic collections? If yes, colud you show some example of hbm.xml fragment.

(for example I have IDictionary<long, DictionaryItem> items collection)

Thanks in advance!

Support for generic collections is on the way. There is some code in subversion for generics support but it's not been fully tested.

Presently you can use a third party library:

http://www.ayende.com/projects/nhibernate-query-analyzer/generics.aspx

The documentation in that page will help. It's not documented but its there: a class named EntityDictionary<Tkey, Tvalue> that you can use for IDictionary<Tkey,Tvalue> mappings.
