This seems like such a silly, simple question that I expect it is answered somewhere (I did look though) and I'm sure I'll get flamed for asking it, but...

What has happened to the evict() method of Hibernate's Session API in the EJB3 EntityManager API for J2SE applications?

Is there some mindset shift I need to do instead of wanting to call evict()?

Thanks,

Richard.
