Hello,
I'm a newbie to hibernate. I have a question about parent-child relation with respect to versioning.

Suppose I have a versioned class, which contains a collection of child components (composite-element).
If I update a propery of one of the children, does hibernate increment the version of the containing class?

10x

Write a test and see for yourself. Just follow examples in the H unit tests - this would be a great exercise to familiarize yourself with Hibernate
