Hibernate version: 3.0
Name and version of the database you are using: Oracle 10g

I have this question. Can i generate hbm and/or ddl files from a set o pojos ???

Yes and No. Let me explain;

Yes if you have XDoclet or Annontation markup.
No if they are plain POJOs as there simply is not enough information to do the job approrpriately.
