Can anyone show me the ways in using NHibernate actions eg. retireve, update, add and delete data from the system/database .
I am using vb.net express edition.

The classes are generated using LLBLGen Pro.....but it did not generate the mapping file ......

I use CodeSmith (the version 2.6 is free) with this templates:

This will generate the classes and the mapping files from database and it's working fine !!!

dude, you are trying to use one or-mapper to generate maps for another. Are you serious about that? You should understand that they have totally different approaches and are in no way even slightly compatible (nor are they trying to be).

In short, the answer is: do not waste your time on it. ;-)

Very true, I have been scratching my head for 2 days now as to how are you planning to have LLBLGen to generate NHibernate mapping for you.

It sounds like what you really want is to have some code generator generate your classes and mappings - I think you've got LLBLGen stuck in your head when it is not needed. Both MyGeneration and CodeSmith have templates for NHibernate. Drop the LLBLGen + NHibernate combo and find yourself a templated engine that gives you what you're really after.
