Hello, I have a Spring/Hibernate application built and it's ready to go. Unfortunately, I have not found a single Java webhost that says Hibernate is ok. They all say that it consumes too much memory/resources.

I may have to find a VPS so I can run whatever I want, but the memory included with most VPS packages that I can afford is 128mb - 256mb which I'm pretty sure isn't going to be able to run my Spring/Hibernate application on Tomcat and also be able to run MySql...

I know there has to be a host out there that will allow Spring & Hibernate for a decent price, but I can't find one. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

-Brad

dude! Hibernate does not use more memory than you load...I run all the unittests for hibernate with default memory settings so hibernate can for sure run in small environments.

The problem with these hostings is that the previous hosting *users* probably have used hibernate on their system in bad ways.

I'm currently trying to get my hibernate app working at eApps (www.eapps.com). They told me that that have customers using hibernate.

How do these non-VPS hosts even work? Do you just upload a .war? How can they tell if you are using Hibernate?
