 Post subject: Access Oracle sequence using HQL

I need to get the primary id from an Oracle sequence in order to display on the page even before inserting.

The sql I need to execute is: SELECT seq_blah.NEXTVAL FROM DUAL

on my hbm.xml, I had set the primary key generate is assigned.

How do I execute the above sql using hibernate?
