We have an existing application which uses a different set of tables for every year. This means, the table name contains the year portion as part of it. In this scenario, would you recommend using Hibernate? Would you suggest some guidelines to follow in this scenario?

Can anyone give some insight into this? I am not sure if this is supported in Hibernate or not?
