Hi i have a sequence with the name of domain_seq in my db. I tried to get nextvalue like this in my code;

Integer nextVal = (Integer) session.createSQLQuery("select domain_seq.nextval from dual").uniqueResult();

However i got an exception which says :

addEntity() or addScalar() must be called on a sql query before executing the query. [select domain_seq.nextval from dual]

Is there anyone knows the reason? I really need help.Thanks
