Now I am facing a technical difficulty. Possibly I am missing something in what Hibernate provides.

My question is:

How to check whether a property is an instance of a class(entity) using Criteria or Query?

The property "class" provided in Hibernate is not polymorphic, but exact match.

Any workaround?

I used JOINED mapping strategy for inheritance.
