JDeveloper and Hibernate

Hi everybody,

I am using Jdeveloper 10.1.3 and hibernate 3.0.

Now i want to generate DAO's and POJO's .

Is there any plug in for JDeveloper.

not that i am aware of. I recommend you use ant which I assume is callable from jdeveloper.

It just creates only one pojo for the mapping file.
But i want create DAOs too.

Is it possible to use Hibernate synchronizer in JDeveloper?

huh ? why do you think hibernate tools cant create dao's via ant when it can via eclipse ?

if hibernate tool can create daos then why hibernate synchronizer???

i didnt try creating dao's using tools......let me try...

I dont know ... that why i posted here......if anyone can explain ....who knows about it....

Hibernate tools GUI (part of Hibernate project) is targeted for eclipse. The Ant tasks which is a part of the tools package has no such dependency so any IDE with Ant support (obviously including the command line) will work fine. See the documents for features.

Hibernate Synchroniser was an external project (quite good at the time) which was also targeted toward eclipse - that last time I looked it was no longer under active development.
