						 Hibernate version:
 NHibernate v1.0.2

Name and version of the database you are using:
 MySql 5.0

 Other:
 ASP.NET v1.1 / C#

This is a very strange one - I have an object called a request, and I need to list those requests 10 or 20 per page for reporting purposes.

One day I realized it was taking a long time to return 10 requests (no child objects, about 30 something fields that are all primary types or Enums. I thought "Well that is strange?!" - it would take between 3 and for 4 seconds to load and display 10 requests. The database is basically empty (talking less than 100 rows)...

Well to make a long story short, when my request object has 35 member fields all accessed through their property assessors, it takes 3-4-5 seconds to load 10 requests. If I comment out any one of the properties, it basically runs quicker than 1 second each time.

I am about to go sift through the SQL generated - will post it shortly - just curious if anyone has any insight on this...

 Thanks!
