I followed the step from the documentation.
And when I create a HibernateUtil class, thus I write:

JIDEEA can't understood the word hibernate.

When you ask for question you should post your exception here and not a . This makes it by far easier to understand your problem.

Then you should consider to rate other people when they helped you. I am not sure if it is good to start learning java with Hibernate. But anyway this is your decision.

You will need the hibernate libraries. Have a look in the Hibernate tutorials on my website. There is a basic tutorial showing step by step how to do it and which library you will need.
