Name and version of the database you are using:
Oracle 9i

I'm getting this type of error on startup using Spring+Hibernate+Tomcat. The webapp runs fine even with this exception, but I'd like to know what it means if anyone knows.

I figure this stuff here out of the stack trace is most helpful:
Could not get database version from JDBC metadata
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

Any ideas?

I tried adding that jar file, but I'm still seeing the exception on startup. Username, password and such are correct. The application and database function correctly, I just want to know what this exception is and what it means.
