Does an idbag support the idenity column yet? If so which version supports it.

When trying to update an object (which is updating a collection) I get:

I also am getting this problem. If identity is not supported, what is the preferred generator? The documentation shows sequence being used, however I'm not sure if sequence is supported under Informix. And if it is, does the Hibernate engine auto-create a suitable sequence by default, or should I create one in the database and configure it in the mapping?
