Hibernate version: 3.0

I am using filter on many-to-many relationship with associatoin table...but Hibernatre genrates query which seems to apply filter on the column of association table rather of the mapping entity in which the filter is applied... so evantually that queries fails with unknown column msg...

Will migration to 3.1 fix it? .. using 3.0 currently.. I also see a jira issue for this one http://opensource2.atlassian.com/projec ... se/HHH-229

For a many-to-many set you need to apply the filter to the many-to-many mapping and for other set associations you apply it to the set mapping.
