Hi

How can I make a property present in a <component> object as an <id> for a class in which the component is present.

Thanks

I am not sure if I totally understood your question.

I understood it as following. You want to have a component as primary key.
In this case you may use
composite-id which is explained in the Hibernate reference
8.4. Components as composite identifiers

Please rate, if this helped.
